LG May Be Prepping Its First Ever Windows Mobile Smartphone
If an unconfirmed report is correct, LG’s very first model running Windows Mobile will soon be released by AT&T.
Until now, this company has concentrated on producing stylish featurephones. Still, an anonymous source has sent Engadget a partial description of the LG Incite, which will definitely be a true smartphone.
The leaked description indicates that this model will sport a 240-by-400-pixel touchscreen that sits flush with its all-metal body, which sounds like an LG design.
This GSM phone’s wireless capabilities are expected to include 3G (3.6 Mbps HSPA), Wi-Fi, and, presumably, Bluetooth.
Not all the details on this model are available, but this source did mention a 3-MPx auto-focus camera with flash and support for aGPS.
The LG Incite will reportedly be launched by AT&T in time for the holiday shopping season. Pricing is unknown at this point.
