Pricing Leaked for AT&T’s Touch Pro and Samsung Epix

A vital piece of information has leaked out about a pair of smartphones that are expected to be debuting from A&T in the coming weeks: their prices.
The HTC Touch Pro will cost $300, while the Samsung Epix will go for $200, according to information that was leaked to Engadget.
Although this was not explicitly stated, it’s likely getting these prices will require signing a two-year contract.
Neither of these smartphones has been officially announced by AT&T, but a great deal of information on them is nevertheless available.
The Touch Pro has a built-in sliding keyboard and is expected to replace the AT&T Tilt in this carrier’s lineup.
It runs Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional with HTC’s finger-friendly TouchFLO 3D user interface on top.
This smartphone sports a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS, a microSD/SDHC card slot, and a 1350 mAh battery.
This device is already available in Europe and some U.S. retailers, but the upcoming version will have something new: support for AT&T’s 3G service.
More about the Samsung Epix
The design of the Samsung Epix — a tablet shape with a fixed keyboard — suggests that it will take the place of the Samsung BlackJack II.
According to details that recently leaked out of AT&T, this Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro smartphone will have a 320-by-320-pixel touchscreen.
The Epix is also expected to have 3G, Wi-Fi, a GPS receiver, and a microSD card slot.
